Cakes and Ale

'Cakes and Ale' played Beyond the Image Gallery from 4 - 6pm at the opening of the International Exhibition 'Beyond the Pond'.

The group play contemporary folk with an Eastern and Medieval influence and on Saturday played European folk tunes from the UK, France and Romania and original songs written by Ed Harkness and Jasper Taylor.

Our thanks to.....Ed Harkness (vocals, accordion, harmonium), Bertie Playle (accordion, harmonium), Jasper Taylor (guitar, mandolin), Chris Densham (bass), Arren Steere (guitar, banjo), Jeff Dale (middle eastern drums including the dumbaka, darabuka and duff) and Ruth Gordon (flute, banjo, tin whistle, guitar) - it was great to have you at the gallery!
